Connect your Shopify store to Claude

Ask Claude about your own store — revenue leaks, sales, products and ads — and get answers from your real numbers instead of general advice.

EcomBoost AI is a connector (MCP server) for Claude. Add https://www.ecomboostai.com/api/mcp as a custom connector in Claude, sign in to EcomBoost AI and approve, and Claude can read your store's revenue leaks, sales, products, ad results and the outcome of past changes. It only reads: nothing in your store can be changed through Claude.

What you get

  • Where you are losing money, in dollarsThe revenue leaks and opportunities EcomBoost already found in your store, ranked by estimated impact, each with a link to fix it in EcomBoost.
  • Your real numbers, not averagesSales, orders and average order value for any period against the one before, your best sellers, products with no sales, missing SEO or low stock, and your ad spend against revenue.
  • Whether past changes actually workedEvery change EcomBoost made is measured against the store's own trend, so Claude can tell a real win from a month when the whole store went up.

What it does not do

  • It reads; it does not edit your storeClaude can see your data but cannot change products, prices or ads. Fixes are applied in EcomBoost AI, after you approve them.
  • It needs a connected Shopify storeThe answers come from the store you connected to EcomBoost AI. Without one, there is no data to read.
  • Custom connectors depend on your Claude planAdding a custom connector is a Claude feature, and which Claude plans include it is set by Claude, not by EcomBoost AI.
